I hope to elicit groans when I start with the cliche of, "They say hindsight is 2020...but I'm looking forward this year." Badum-chaaaaa. Terrible puns and dad-jokes are what you're signing up for when you book a session with yours truly. You've been forewarned.
Okay phew, glad I got that out of my system.
Anyways, I'm here starting a blog, not because I think I have anything of real depth or value to say, but because apparently SEO depends on it. Kidding...kinda. Anyways, I'm not one for too much social media (I tend to take prolonged disappearances from all of my platforms, save for Reddit), but if I gotta blog on my website, I should at least be honest about why it's important.
Yeah, so SEO, or search engine optimization for those who are new to the acronym, is how traffic is driven to your website through the convoluted interwebs. It is embedded content on your site with keywords and tagging etc that direct people to you through search engines and what not. That's an oversimplified summary, but you get my point. It's a way for people to find my work.
So woo, I'm blogging. I figured I'll use this as a fun way to share some "behind the scenes" and lessons learned from this photography journey of mine. And hopefully I can be somewhat entertaining along the way. Thanks for reading :)
